It's true that quartz movements are amongst the most common movements in timepieces today. However, this is true for a reason. Quartz, or silicone dioxide as it is known in scientific circles, has been used in timepieces since the 1970s. When placed under electrical current quartz can operate at a very high frequency.
Powered by a battery and microchips, quartz movements are the most accurate movements available on the market today. Not only are quartz movements dependable, they are incredibly affordable!

Your watch is warranted by Invicta and once worn, should any problems arise, it will be covered under Invicta's 3 year warranty.
